The Lake

Range of Antarctic mountains bordering the ocean

During its prime, Lake Bonneville would have looked similar to this picture off the coast of Antarctica.  Abrupt ice-covered mountain ranges rising from the water's edge.  Some glaciers snaking down valleys and into the lake.  Floating ice.  A cold wet place.
