Just north of the fence surrounding the buried water tank is a good example of a rounded dropstone of quartzite seemingly stuck in the glacial mud. Two other rock types, granite, and dolomite have been identified among the dropstones. The dolomite may indicate a past global warm (greenhouse) period before the cold (icehouse period) represented by the glacial sediment. (Photo by Bill Harris). Click here to see another dropstone.
