Brierton Sharp is an undergraduate student in the Department of Geological Sciences from Hawaii. He enjoys playing the electric base, snowboarding, surfing, and playing soccer.

He ended up studying geology because he had always liked nature, science and puzzle solving, so geology seemed like the culmination of all the things he enjoyed. Moving forward, Brierton wants to do hazard mitigation with an emphasis in earthquakes, landslides, ad tsunamis. He is currently working on applying to master's programs including BYU, where he would work with Ron Harris.

"We all live on planet earth and geologists are the ones who understand it best."
