Emma is a freshman in the Department of Geological Sciences from upstate New York. She loves spending time with friends, hiking outside, and everything graphic design.
In high school, she took a class that taught about earth sciences, and she found it very interesting! From that moment on, she decided that that was what she wanted to study.
She loves being a geology major because of the small class sizes. She has been able to form lasting relationships with many of the professors and students. Even after years of being in geology courses Emma still finds geology so interesting and loves that there is always more to learn. She encourages all students to give geology a try!
